Workshops, Labs & Studios Room for practical skills, experimentation and imagination

The Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art offers diverse, modern facilities, including numerous workshops, laboratories and studios located at 745 Viscosistadt (Viscosi City) in Lucerne-Emmenbrücke. All of these are open to students during regular teaching hours and, by prior arrangement, also outside teaching hours. The Workshops Platform provides information on opening hours, support and introduction.

Impressions of the workshops

In addition to their allocated studio space, students can make use of the numerous workshops, labs and studios.

New workshops under one roof will become available to students in summer 2019, upon completion of the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art’s new building in Emmenbrücke. This will fuse, structurally and operationally, with the present building, 745 Viscosistadt (Viscosi City). The facilities then clustered at this single site will be available to all students.
