The publishing workshop is home to classic pre-press, digital printing and print finishing. The open, generously designed workstations are available to all students of the Lucerne School of Art, Film and Design for individual use and on request for workshops. An introduction to certain devices/machines must be completed beforehand so that they can be used independently.
The staff at the publishing workshop can provide support and advice on data processing, digital printing, software expertise (Adobe programmes) and print finishing.
Students have a wide range of materials, equipment and machines at their disposal:

- High-end large format printing
- Risography
- Cutting plotter
- Bookbinding
- Equipment for finishing/processing printed products
- Paper selection
