The MediaDock is a hybrid space for thinking and doing. It can be used for a host of activities: As a development space for creative-technological student projects, for interdisciplinary projects (with technical support) and for the exchange of ideas and the merging of knowledge.
Beyond that, the venue is used for a series of MediaDock soirées (input events) designed to build a creative-critical media discourse and to provide hands-on workshops and technical introductions to various fields of activity. Suggestions for joint projects and events are always welcome!
The MediaDock is located on the first floor, in room 112.
In addition to a large photo plotter and several negative scanners, the room is equipped with 360-degree cameras, VR stations, 3D scanners and computers for image generation and processing as well as advanced media experiments.
After completing the respective introductory courses (register via Thomas Knüsel), you may borrow the devices from the MediaDock or use them on-site.
