Textile Printing – analogue, digital, experimental
Applied arts and works of art are equally possible in the Textile Printing Workshop, a space for creativity and experimentation. Printing pastes, dyes and chemicals for tooling techniques can be mixed at will, while various devices and machines broaden the range of possible printing methods. Digital printing with industrial-standard inks is one focus; another is the laser cutter, which can be used to carve or engrave wood, perspex, ceramics, textiles and other materials. The workshop serves students, staff and research scholars as a docking pad and centre of expertise.
