Ski lifts also create added value in small winter sports destinations and strengthen the identity of the residents. Small, low-lying ski lifts in particular are currently struggling with new challenges such as climate change, lack of snow, modernisation, infrastructure costs and competition. The focus of the project is therefore on creating a year-round offer so that the lift can also be used in snow-free months. At bed and breakfasts in the mountain station or at picnics on the meadow, the lift acts as a provider of regional delicacies, while at events it takes on the role of host, offering fun and interaction through predetermined activities.
