Biografie
Dario Lanfranconi is a research associate at the Immersive Realities research lab, working on a variety of research projects and applications in the fields of Augmented and Virtual Reality. Together with the Visual Narrative research group he has been investigating the role and potential of Augmented Reality in urban planning and collaborative design processes, with a particular focus on visual language and visualization methods. He is also teaching at the CAP school in Zurich and various HSLU departments, including the Spatial Design BA program.
Dario Lanfranconi holds a Master’s degree in architecture from ETH Zurich and has been working in the fields of architecture and visualization since 2009, with a passion for materials, haptics and light and designing environments, both build or virtual. He has collaborated on several urban research projects involving interactive media and implemented a range of physical and digital exhibitions for the public sector, including the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan.
