Buying textiles is often imbued with hopes and dreams. Nevertheless, in terms of fashion these textiles become out of date ever more quickly and are discarded long before they can regain their distinction. This means that these fabrics have something tragic about them, not least because their manufacture has such an impact on the environment and society. Out of this profound mass, objects emerge in this project that are here confronted with the human body.
The question: what has become of our existential need for protection?
