Openly showing emotions or living our inner feelings outwardly can often be difficult in today’s society, or is even taboo. Inspired by two extremes – ecstasy and shame – unique worlds of emotion emerge, expressed through the author’s language of design in the patterns. Feelings are not specific to gender; therefore there are correspondingly no gender barriers in the textile designs. The narrative pattern unfolds itself on the large surface of the cloth, cut to be adapted as a summer kimono.
