“Nobody should be stopped from exercising their right to freedom of expression on demonstrations just because of their fear of rubber bullets!” says Natalie Agreda, and explains: “demonstrations are about making injustices visible; it’s about demarginalisation and freedom of speech.”
The Miran! collection, with it symbol, the patches and the cap, is intended to communicate this statement. The eyes used are metaphors for seeing and showing the issue of violence when rubber bullets are aimed at protestors.
