Disposable products help to make everyday work in hospitals more hygienic. The down side of this is the large amounts of waste produced. This includes disposable clothing made of recyclable plastic. Lorena Adler and Selina Cadruvi tackle the issue of re-usability and extrude the textile into firm plastic sheeting. As a model example of its application they have designed a screen that can be deployed in healthcare facilities. The original function of providing visual privacy is retained in the new form.
