Bachelor of Arts in Film with Specialisation in Video
Graduates in Video are equipped with the diverse skill sets required in professional practice today. Generalist training in combination with specialisation modules enables them to quickly gain a foothold in a broad variety of careers in the film industry or other audio-visual media. Many graduates switch back and forth between independent artistic work and employment on film productions and commissioned projects. Completion of the 3-year Bachelor of Arts in Video also qualifies them to pursue a Master of Arts in Switzerland or abroad.
You can find all the information to the admission requirements on our page Admission Procedure and Admission Requirements.
The entrance examination is comprised of two parts. After registering in time for the deadline, the applicant hands in a portfolio and a work assignment realised on a set theme (which will be communicated by the department in due time). If both the portfolio and the work assignment are assessed positively, the applicant is invited to an interview. For more details please see our Information on the Admission Process.
