In offering documentary film, experimental film and video essays, we commit to three genres that are key to a broad range of creative careers. The people on our degree programme examine the worlds within and around them with empathy and a critical eye. These are students who aim to take a fresh look at themselves and the universe in order to develop personal vision, skills and positions. We demand of our students the courage to leave behind conventions and comfort zones – and to dare instead to test their limits and transcend classic notions of genre.

Whether landscape gardeners, confectioners or straight out of school, our students offer insights garnered from diverse professional experience and training. Admission to the degree programme mainly depends not on profound technical knowledge but on a passion for self-expression through the medium of film, and a burning desire to tell stories.
Admission procedure
The admission procedure consists of two parts: the personal file including take-home assignment and an entrance interview along with an entrance examination.
