We consider leadership to be a process of value-centred relationship-building between management and employees. This relational management approach requires a high degree of cultural sensitivity, self-reflection and openness towards other perspectives and attitudes. That is why diversity, creativity, interdisciplinarity and interculturality are important concepts in our teaching, research and consulting activities.
The future of management is shaped by transformation processes. The quality of leadership is measured against how changes in organisations are scheduled and interconnected in a meaningful way. Individual senior managers cannot steer complex change processes on their own. Today, leadership takes place in networks with a high degree of self-organisation. More than anything, it is the digital transformation of our working world that creates a need for agile and collaborative leadership. With our innovative projects and publications in the field of Leadership, we contribute, in a multitude of ways, to the advancement of research and continuing education in the field.
