Closely collaborating with companies in Central Switzerland’s medical engineering and healthcare sectors, the cantons, the University of Lucerne and the College of Higher Education for Medical Engineering in Sarnen, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and the XUND Centre for Professional Training have developed two new study programmes together in 2023.
Starting in autumn 2024, skilled workers in the care, medical engineering and life sciences sectors can enrol for a dedicated bachelor's degree programme in a relevant discipline in Central Switzerland.
The IDN Health is committed to pursuing and refining the same interdisciplinary dynamic and networked approach. Since early 2024, the HSLU has been promoting, in the framework of the IDN Health, the current and future research activities of its six Schools into the challenges and potential of Swiss healthcare.
The IDN Health connects and broadens the research activities that have been a mainstay of the HSLU’s six Schools for many years.
