Lab infrastructure and software tools

The CC TEVT has access to two labs as well as several software tools. Those are used to design efficient thermal systems as well as testing the functionality of prototypes.

Thermal Energy Systems and Process Engineering Lab

In the Thermal Energy Systems and Process Engineering Lab efficiencies of thermal systems or products are tested or verified. For the design of new products and processes a variety of software-tools are employed.

Bio-Energy Lab

The Bio-energy Lab has testing facilities at its disposal to investigate manually fed wood combustion installations, pellet-furnaces, and automated wood furnaces. Furthermore, Electrostatic separators and hydraulic integration into heat-networks can be investigated.

Measurement Analytics Lab

In the Measurement Analytics Lab, modern measurement equipment are available to investigate and testing material properties.

Software Tools

For designing new products and processes, a variety of software-tools is employed.
