Our key research areas

The Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture conducts application-oriented, interdisciplinary research and development in the five key areas of data-based processes and automation, energy systems and efficiency, health technologies and comfort, circular economy and resource efficiency, as well as Baukultur and adaptive reuse.

This is why the Energy Lab, recently launched under the leadership of the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture, systematically fosters innovation with a high market potential.
