CC Business Engineering Holistic solutions for a liveable future

Complex social and entrepreneurial challenges require a holistic approach, especially in times of change. The experts at the Business Engineering Competence Centre are convinced that long-term value generation only comes about through integrative solutions that take technology, people and business into account.

At the Competence Centre of the Institute for Innovation and Technology Management of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, economically viable solutions for the future are developed. The focus of the practical and interdisciplinary research is on the areas of energy management, open innovation & digitalisation, servitization and sustainability.

Energy Economics

The challenges of achieving climate targets and mastering the federal government's Energy Strategy 2050 are the goals of the Business Engineering Competence Centre. With its expertise in the development of holistic analyses, it supports innovative technologies as they enter the market.

Sustainable and Circular Economy

The thematic focus “Sustainable and Circular Economy” combines research and practice in order to develop application-oriented solutions for a resource-conserving and sustainable economy. We take a holistic view of ecological, economic and social aspects and combine concrete approaches with long-term perspectives.
