Biography
“I am passionate about combining the curiosity of a technology nerd, the expertise of a management consultant, and the creativity of an artist. This allows me a new perspective on everyday things, especially in the area of digital transformation, servitization, digital twins, simulation modeling, artificial intelligence & software development.”
Eugen holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Charles Sturt University in Australia. With respect to this, he studied Business Models and the transition of capital goods companies from manufacturers to service providers. Other closely related areas of interest include Innovation, Digital Transformation, Design Thinking and Visual Thinking. Moreover he is very tech-savvy and thus enthusiastic for information and communication technology, especially the topics Digital Twins, Simulation modeling, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things.
After graduation as a Master of Engineering (Old Dominion University, USA), Eugen worked as a Research Engineer and Software Developer for a start-up in the telecommunication industry. Subsequently, he received an Executive MBA degree (Bern University of Applied Science, Switzerland) and held the position of product manager in the industrial goods sector.
