Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication with Specialisation in Illustration Nonfiction
As a scientific illustrator in the fields of archaeology, medicine, biology, etc./ as a designer for signage and education and outreach in museum contexts/ as an illustrator of teaching aids, text books etc., in the field of education/ visualisation of reconstructions and concepts/ and (solely with a Master’s) as a teacher of aesthetic education.

The entrance examination is comprised of two parts. After registering in time for the deadline, the applicant hands in a portfolio and a work assignment realised on a set theme (which will be communicated by the department in due time). If both the portfolio and the work assignment are assessed positively, the applicant is invited to an interview - and additionally, in the case of Illustration Nonfiction, to attend an examination day.
