Perspectives

The degree programme qualifies students for a wide range of fields of activity in terms of art, craftsmanship and methodology. Classic areas such as children's and picture books, comics, editorial illustration, animation and commissions for institutions or design agencies are complemented by innovative applications in visual didactics, exhibition design and art education.

As an illustrator, a dynamic world opens up in which you can live and work independently. Many graduates are characterised by flexibility and switch between commissioned work and self-initiated projects. Some find their place in the independent art scene or in publishing, while others take on curatorial activities.
A Bachelor's degree also qualifies graduates for a Master's degree in Art Teaching for Matura schools.
