The Master of Science in Banking and Finance programme was included in the Financial Times (FT) ranking for the first time. According to the FT, it is one of the world's 55 best finance study programmes.
The ranking assesses various factors in the areas of students' employability and career opportunities, as well as the diversity and internationality of the programme. The MSc in Banking and Finance is ranked 51st. According to the FT, the programme is globally the best finance degree programme in terms of value for money. Compared to the 55 top programmes of the world, the MSc in Banking and Finance also ranks above average in the areas of "student internships" and "international course experience".
"The inclusion in the ranking underlines the high quality of our programme as well as the successful combination of academic and practical orientation," says Dr. Simon Amrein, who heads the Master in Banking and Finance together with Prof. Dr. Florian Schreiber. Prof. Dr. Florian Schreiber further emphasises: "The personal and professional development of our students, as well as the quality of the teaching, will remain central in the future".
The degree programme has also been part of the University Affiliation Programme of the CFA Institute since 2020. The Chartered Financial Analyst® is one of the best-known global certificates in the investment sector. Moreover, the Lucerne School of Business has been AACSB accredited since 2021.
