Biografie
Prof. Dr. Christine Grimm specializes in circular economy and sustainability strategies at HSLU. Her research explores systemic implications of circularity, unintended consequences of innovation, and business model transformation.
With an interdisciplinary background—a Master’s in Management and a PhD in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies from the University of Edinburgh—she has always worked at the intersection of technology and business management, allowing her to approach sustainability challenges from multiple perspectives. She strongly believes in lifelong learning and pursued courses at MIT (System Dynamics and Circular Economy), the University of Edinburgh (Carbon Capture and Storage) as well as the University Applied Sciences and Arts Lucerne, (CAS in Teaching for Higher Education).
She has extensive experience in applied research and industry collaboration, including roles at SAP Research, Climate-KIC, and consulting firms, and is a SAP-certified Design Thinking Coach. Her work bridges academic insights and practical implementation, supporting businesses in sustainable innovation and circular transformation.
