Our partner network includes universities all over the world that offer you a wide range of study opportunities. Whether Europe, Asia, America or Australia - our partner schools assist you in gaining international experience as well as valuable academic and cultural insights.

Application process*

  1. Inform yourself and choose your desired destination/partner school: Visit our world map and get an overview of our partner schools. You are also welcome to contact the International Office of your School to find out about possible destinations.
  2. Contact the International Office of your School to receive the link to the Mobility Online Tool.
  3. Internal application via Mobility Online Tool: Use your Switch edu-ID. Depending on the degree program, different documents are required (transcript of records, letter of motivation, proof of language proficiency, etc.).
  4. Nomination by the International Office: As soon as your application has been accepted, the International Office will nominate you to the desired partner school.
  5. Application to the partner school: Once you have been nominated, you will be contacted by the partner school and informed about the further process. In most cases, this will also include an application, as we will not forward any of your documents.
  6. Inform the International Office of the partner school's decision.
  7. Prepare yourself as soon as possible for your stay abroad (visa process, accommodation, travel, etc.)

  • Information events: Our International Offices or the degree programs organize information events in your School about a semester abroad. Ask your International Office when the next event is taking place.
  • Advice: You are welcome to visit the International Office of your School and ask for advice about your stay abroad. We will be happy to help!
