Essential info on the degree programme Bachelor’s in Object Design: from the admissions procedure to the location to the fees.
Bachelor of Arts in Product and Industrial Design with Specialisation in Object Design
The professional field of product design is widely open to object designers. They work in design agencies, in development teams of companies, in education and research as well as in self-employment. There is also a great potential for object designers outside the established professional categories - wherever new concepts for dealing with raw materials, mobility, property, nutrition and inclusion are developed. The Bachelor of Arts in Object Design also qualifies students for a further Master of Arts in Design with the specializations Master Design, Master Eco-Social Design and Master Service Design.
You can find all the information to the admission requirements on our page Admission Procedure and Admission Requirements.
The admission process consists of two parts. After registering, the applicant submits a digital portfolio and a design homework assignment. During a joint admission day at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art, applicants get to know life in the Object Design programme.
