Fungus hypae, or to be more precise mycelium, are the roots of a fungus. The hypae penetrate into cellulose-rich material and decompose it using enzymes. This characteristic was exploited to create a 100-percent recyclable polymer material. Following a series of self-created tests using various fungus types and basic substrates, a manufacturing production process was developed with which model objects could be produced. Dust to dust, cradle to cradle.
