Location
In the 2019 autumn semester, all specialisations of the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art were united under one roof in the former viscose factory on the Viscosistadt estate in the North of Lucerne. To have the twelve bachelor’s and the eight master’s programmes side by side enables an inspiring exchange and fosters interdisciplinary work.
Studios
The high-ceilinged rooms and large windows of our studios create an atmosphere that allows you to focus on your work and studies in a relaxed environment. In immediate proximity of these generous and light-flooded studios, there is a host of managed workshops catering to your study programme at your disposal, including the photography studio, the media dock and the publishing workshop.
In these facilities, you can directly develop and realise your ideas and ask the heads of workshop for support advice any time you need it.
Of course, Camera Arts students can also use all the other
workshops of the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art such as the wood, metal, textile and printing workshops.
