Explore, challenge, connect, transform: The Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art is a place of transformation. Founded in 1877 as the Lucerne School of Arts and Crafts, it is the oldest university-level institution for design, film and art in German-speaking Switzerland. It currently hosts some 1,000 students who learn practical skills and develop their very own artistic profile. Four research groups create new approaches to society, culture and business. A varied range of continuing education programmes caters to the needs of an ever-changing world.
