Enrolment in the Doctor of Business Administration DBA program is dependent on your overall academic qualifications and governed by the enrolment criteria of Silpakorn University. The minimum entry requirement is a prior higher-education degree on the MAS, MSc, MBA, or EMBA level awarded by a university, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, university of applied sciences, or college of education before the start of your DBA journey.
Your compliance with the entry requirements of Silpakorn University for the Doctor of Business Administration DBA can be evaluated already prior to the preparation and submission of your application materials, by Silpakorn University and based on its criteria. Based on your application materials, an interview will be conducted by the Admission Board (for dates and times of the Admission Board interviews, see sub-section Dates and Venues. After the interview, a final decision will be made about your admission to the program. You will receive final confirmation of your admission approximately one week after your interview. Please review the sub-section Admission Board for more information about the Admission Board, the process of the interview, and the criteria assessed during the interview.
Finally, you are required to provide proof of your knowledge of the English language to Silpakorn University. To do so, you will need to provide one of the following certificates at the time of attending the Core Module 'Academic Excellence' in Bangkok, Thailand (not older than two years at the time of attending the Core Module 'Academic Excellence'):
- TOEIC score of 785 or higher
- TOEFL iBT score of 72 IBT or higher
- TOEFL ITP score of 543 or higher
- IELTS Academic score of 5.5 or higher
- Cambridge English of 160 or higher
- CU-TEP score of 70 or higher
Only on-site exams are accepted.
