Modelling and Managing Personalized Learning Environments Using Digital Tools and AI (in englischer Sprache)
Anne Nicole, Maître d'enseignement responsable numérique and Joris Felder, doctoral researcher and EdTech founder, present the ARIA Project of the Haute école de musique de Genève (HEM).
HEM is committed to training creative and unique artists. Artistic projects, which are often unique and personal, should therefore be the focus of the training. For this reason, learning pathways must be adapted to provide flexible tools that meet the individual needs of students. The ARIA project 24-25 aims to strengthen students' skills in managing, evaluating and promoting their own artistic projects. It also aims to support students in the development of transversal skills from a lifelong learning perspective. Therefore the project integrates digital tools and AI (Yepa® digital platform) to design a framework for training systems centered on the personalization of learning environments.
A graduate of the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Paris, Anne Nicole began her career as a professional clarinetist, before studying digital humanities, specializing in learning engineering. Her favorite subjects are digital citizenship and education in new technologies and their social issues.
Researcher in educational technology, trainer and educational engineer, Joris Felder is the founder of the Ed Tech company Yllyl. Here, with his team, he is developing Yepa®, an educational technology that makes instrumented learning practices and learning itself visible, facilitates their sharing and analysis, and increases the possibilities of reflective recommendations thanks to its specially trained AI. Yepa is based on the concept of the Personal Learning Environment and a specific interview technique and modeling method developed as part of Joris Felder's doctoral research.
