Biografie
Luis Terán (1979) arbeitet derzeit als Dozent an der Hochschule Luzern und als Senior Researcher und Privat-Dozent am Institut Human-IST der Universität Freiburg, Schweiz. Er war Gastwissenschaftler an der Universität Bern und akademischer Gast an der Universität Zürich. Außerdem wurde er bis Oktober 2020 zum ordentlichen Professor an der Universidad de Las Fuerzas Armadas (ESPE), Ecuador, ernannt. Er erwarb einen Doktortitel und eine Habilitation in Informatik an der Universität Fribourg. Im Jahr 2009 schloss er einen Master of Science in Kommunikationssystemen an der Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule (EPFL), Lausanne, Schweiz, ab. Im Jahr 2004 erhielt er einen B.Sc. in Elektronik und Telekommunikation von der Escuela Politécnica Nacional, Quito, Ecuador.
