Space for Encounters is an open source handbook of art mediation tools built by the participants of a workshop organized by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne at the invitation of swissnex India and Pro Helvetia – Swiss Arts Council, in collaboration with the Foundation of Contemporary Art of India (FICA) as a collateral to Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2016. This handbook contains tools that can be readily implemented by art mediators and parctitioners at any exhibition space to make the art work more accessible to the audience.
