The Covid pandemic had a strong impact on the Lucerne UASA’s various activities in 2020. Thanks to the remarkable commitment of its employees and the exceptional flexibility of its students, participants in continuing education programmes and research partners, the university was able to weather the crisis.
The year in a nutshell:
- 7,789 students in a degree programme (Bachelor’s and Master’s; incl. teaching diploma)
- 4,698 participants in a continuing or executive education programmes (MAS, DAS, CAS)
- 5,315 participants in continuing education seminar or specialist course
- 378 new research and development projects, 279 of which were newly launched
- 1,903 employees (one day per week or more)
