X-Lab Learning and experimenting with data / big data

The interdisciplinary Data Worlds project is launching an environment for learning and experimenting with big data applications (X-Lab). Those within and outside of the university who are interested can now learn more about the possibilities that innovative data uses offer.

The X-Lab is made available through the Lucerne School of Information Technology and aims to support lecturers, students in the training and further education programmes, as well as external partners in developing data-based applications and teaching materials. The opportunities that big data offers are now also available to laypeople in the field, because users of smart analytics tools no longer need to have advanced knowledge of statistics when analysing data and searching for new ways to create value for their business.
