The unit is composed of eight members: alongside its head, the remaining seven officers represent the five Schools and the President’s Office and Services.
The Diversity officer representing the Lucerne School of Music is Mirjam Zimmermann Baumgartner. Together with working groups, she monitors the extent to which structures in the School might exert a negative impact on everyday diversity and advises students, administrative and tuition staff on all issues surrounding diversity. These can include topics such as barrier-free studying; reconciling work, studies and family life; cultural diversity; gender equality; special considerations surrounding music teaching and so forth.
