Federation of Swiss Architects (FSA)

The FSA unites independent architects and people who have made noteworthy and independent achievements in the field of architecture, urban and spatial planning.

Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects SIA

The SIA is a professional association for experts in the fields of construction, technology and the environment. Its members from the fields of engineering and architecture form an interdisciplinary network with the aim of shaping Switzerland as a living space fit for the future.

Architecture Council of Switzerland

The Architecture Council unites all universities as well as the SIA and the BSA. It aims to harmonize architectural education in Switzerland, promote research and, as a common platform, raise awareness in the political environment about architecture as a discipline.

European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE)

The aim of the EAAE is to promote architectural education in Europe. It strives to create a platform that both generates and exchanges fundamental knowledge for architectural education and research.

Building Culture Round Table Switzerland

The Round Table, set up by the SIA, is designed to raise public awareness about building culture and to promote a political anchoring of the topic as a holistic, interdepartmental issue.

The online database attention:ch provides an interested public with insights into Swiss architectural work.

Material Archive

The Material Archive is a network whose current ten members develop and process knowledge about materials and communicate it to experts and the general public. Education and communication take place, on the one hand, in the physical sample collections of the members, which present materials displaying their objectivity, and on the other hand, closely interlinked via the contents of the database, which make material knowledge generally accessible.
