Deep Tech At the intersection of Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship

Deep Tech represents groundbreaking technologies based on scientific breakthroughs and innovative research. These technologies provide solutions to some of the most complex challenges of our time and shape the future in a sustainable way. Professionals in this forward-looking field are in high demand worldwide.

As the first university in Switzerland, we offer high-quality training and education programs as part of the Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI). These programs are certified with the Quality Label of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and include the following offerings:

Around 300 students and professionals successfully completed these training and education programs in 2023 and 2024, further qualifying themselves in pioneering deep tech fields.

Our course offerings are continuously expanding. Currently, we are developing microcredentials for the application of artificial intelligence in medical technology, as well as in data and materials science. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the Warsaw School of Computer Science and the Vilnius Business College as part of the EIT-funded initiative ‘AI for All.’ Additional Microcredentials are being planned within the framework of the EU.ACE network.
