Zum AMZ Racing Team gehören Studierende der der Hochschule Luzern und der ETH Zürich.

Formula Student

Every year, Electrical Engineering students from the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture are part of the AMZ Racing team. They are responsible for the vehicle electronics of the electric racing car with which the team successfully competes in the Formula Student-Electric race, previously setting world records.

Fostering talent

The Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture offers a variety of programs to further advance its students’ specialist and social skills. They can either support their fellow students as tutors or specialist coaches or sign up for the “International Profile” to help launch an international career.

English-taught modules 

As part of a drive to advance the internationalization on campus, certain engineering specialist modules are available in English in the engineering programs. From the fifth semester, architectural students have the opportunity to attend selected modules in English. In addition, a range of English-taught modules at C1 Advanced level are also available to students of Interior Architecture.

Double specialization and Dual Degree

Good students have the chance to pursue a double specialization in programs with multiple specializations. What is more, students in the Business Engineering | Innovation program may attend the third study year at a partner university and obtain a second Bachelor’s degree (dual degree).

Interdiciplinary and international

Think outside the box

Already at the start of the program, there are interdisciplinary project modules that advance practical and teamwork skills beyond the students’ chosen subjects. The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts also jointly offers interdisciplinary learning programs with the University of Lucerne and the University of Teacher Education Lucerne.
