The Cinema Car (drive-in cinema) is an example of the four practice-based PhDs which will be exhibited in the Foyer at the SwissGradNet Discovery Conference No. 1. During the conference, Ronny Hardliz offers the audience a ride in this VW bus, which has been converted into a cinema. In the Cinema Car, film screenings and live broadcasts of the driver’s point of view are the foundation for encounters and conversations. The gesture and term of non-construction — in terms of architectural annulment and voiding — is being made available for use and discourse.
