In this talk, Donia Hamdami reflects on her journey as a forward-thinking, collaborative designer — a path full of turns, and how that’s not just okay, but necessary. Drawing from her diverse experience, she shares how the most powerful ideas arise through deep connection: to materials, nature, users, problems, and teams. With empathy and passion at the core, she reveals how design becomes a co-creative and deeply fulfilling process.
Donia Hamdami is a University Teaching Designer exploring creativity and team dynamics at the Hasso Plattner Institute. With diplomas in Industrial Design and Production Design for Film, she formerly taught University Didactics in Architecture, Interior Design, and Urban Planning at TH OWL.
