Helen Jeger NIM

The furoshiki is a textile of Japanese origin. Traditionally used to wrap gifts, it celebrates the act of packaging: the manual artistic folding of a textile. Against the backdrop of Zen philosophy it embodies and ennobles the gesture of giving and thereby becomes a gift in its own right.
