Students, employees and alumni of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts who act as entrepreneurs can benefit from a wide range of support services provided by Smart-up. In addition to its inspiring workshops and events, this innovative support programme offers personal coaching, access to infrastructure (e.g., company address and co-working space) and matchmaking with other students and external partners.
Smart-up also offers exciting opportunities as part of your regular curriculum – use your studies as a
start-up garage and create valuable synergies between your education and your own start-up business. There are various modules available with content that centres on entrepreneurship. Students acting as entrepreneurs will find the
Start-up Accelerator module – which is offered as an elective – to be of particular interest. In it, you can independently develop your business idea or start-up company and earn 3 ECTS credits for your qualitative and quantitative commitment to building your start-up business. Visit
MyCampus (access with HSLU log-in only) for details. Furthermore, you can write your assessed assignments and projects (e.g., bachelor’s or master’s thesis) about your start-up or a topic of relevance.
