Laura Illia Manzan (University of Fribourg)
Laura Illia heads the Department of Mass Media and Communication Research at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. In her research, Prof. Illia focuses on how discourses and narratives contribute to our understanding of business. She examines questions of legitimacy, reputation, and corporate social responsibility. By applying new digital methods such as machine learning to big dataset, she analyzes the legitimation of organizations on social media.
Adrienne Fichter (Republic)
Adrienne Fichter is a tech reporter and editor at Republik magazine and at the tech blog she co-founded, DNIP.CH. She is interested in everything to do with cybersecurity, data protection, disinformation, big tech, digital ethics and Swiss network policy. In 2017, she published the book "Smartphone Democracy" with other co-authors. Her contributions have also been published as a book under the title "Das Netz ist politisch".
