Overview
The scope of the project is to investigate whether a transmitarray (TA) could be an advantageous alternative to a phased array antenna for power transmission. The following questions are addressed in the study:
- Are TAs suitable for use in a wireless power transmission system with millimeter waves (mm-waves)?
- How large must the TA be depending on the desired focal length?
- Are there possibilities for dynamically adjusting the focal length and the beam direction?
