Overview
In the past people interested in learning about the production process for a vaccine, travel to a laboratory and learn about the process on site. This has not been possible recently and requires a lot of travel in general. Together with the Immersive Realities Research Lab, DCVMN explores Virtual Reality (VR) as a medium for demonstrating the required processes without being present in a lab. Through VR, experts around the world can work through the required steps supplemented with other material as necessary.
The resulting applications is designed for all-in-one headsets like the Oculus Quest 2 for easy use for DCVMN members.
