Overview
The project aims to develop and validate a latent thermal storage for refrigeration processes (-18°C to -35°C). Compared to the state of the art, this cold storage technology could provide higher power output achieved through an efficient heat exchanger, and compactness thanks to the latent storage material. The project scope includes validation of the technology performance and cost at industrial scale as to make the project outcome as close to a commercial product as possible.
