Overview
The Taboobreaker Association develops a cross-media sexual abuse prevention program for children in the age from 7 to 11, that is seamlessly integrable into the school curriculum. It includes a virtual game, a box with ready to use 3D material and a guidance website for teachers. The content is focusing on the enhancement of life skills and relevant knowledge. The program will be tested in a pilot phase with 50 children at 5 primary schools in the German speaking part of Switzerland.
In cooperation with Dr. Deborah Fry, the evaluation team of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts supports the program development in evaluating the prevention program in the testing phase (data collection & data anlysis). The formative evaluation has the aim to improve the further development of the prevention program, based on scientific results.
