Overview
In the near future, the European Union and the German government are expected to make a variety of changes to sustainability reporting and the legal framework for certifications. Even if it is still difficult to assess which specific sustainability criteria will be relevant in the hotel and catering industry in the future and how these will affect existing sustainability certifications, the client is already endeavouring to future-proof its sustainability certification in tourism.
Based on preliminary work from an internal workshop, the existing catalogue of criteria is being revised. The identified criteria will be formulated, operationalised and integrated into the existing criteria catalogue.
