Overview
In order to be able to make use of the potential of digital transformation for the benefit of students and pupils, teachers have to learn how to best use these new tools. The project investigates which didactical skills teachers already possess, need to acquire and how their teaching context is influencing their adoption.
For collecting and analysing these competencies for teaching STEM topics, the project translates noticing and knowledge-based reasoning to the TPACK-model (technological pedagogical content knowledge) for usage of established and future digital media. Examples include instructional videos and augmented reality applications.
The project is being supported as part of the National Research Programme “Digital Transformation” (NRP 77) by the SNF.
