National grants
The Grants Office offers advice to researchers on administrative matters relating to grants applications to the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and other national funding organisations, such as the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse.
International grants
The Grants Office informs and provides advice to researchers on international research funding programmes such as the EU’s Horizon Europe programme.
Alongside the SNSF and Innosuisse, the European Research Framework Programme is the most important funding instrument for the acquisition of third-party funds for research and innovation in Switzerland.
In collaboration with other offices involved, the Grants Office supports researchers through the related in-house processes, from project proposal to reporting.
The Grants Office also provides advice to Central Swiss researchers on project plans and delivery in the context of the European Research Framework Programme (Euresearch Regional Office Central Switzerland).
