Evaluation Tests and Self-Assessment Find the appropriate level

The Council of Europe and European Union's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is intended to facilitate the comparison of acquired language skills and enhance the transparency of the process.

Please follow the instructions above in order to get the most precise test results:

  • Do the evaluation test on your own, without any tool or any help from others.
  • First, do part 1 (A1), then part 2 (A2) and finally part 3 (B1).
  • Answer only those questions you think you know the answer to. Please stop when you start guessing the answers.

After having finished the test, you will be informed if your skills correspond to the tested level and if you should test a higher level. Each test takes about 10 minutes.
